The Little Tikes emblem was cracked when I bought the car second hand, and I was feeling adventurous so I decided to fill it in.
I am certainly no expert when it comes to body work, but this is how I did it;
I picked Water Weld, an epoxy putty. The product itself is straight forward to use; mix it together, put it where you want it, then sand it down.
I made this a much longer process for myself because I wasn't thinking about how hard epoxy gets. I applied extra with the plan to sand it down. It turns out sanding was more difficult and time consuming than planned.
I used a Dremel and a hand held sander to speed this part up. Although it was still a lengthy process.
I wore a mask and had the garage doors open to protect myself from all the dust.
After I sanded it as smooth as I could get it; it was time for primer.
